Good News Assembly...A Church With A Heart
 
"Lord, I have loved the habitation of Your house, and the place where Your honor dwells." (Psalms 26:8)

At Good News Assembly, we believe that our services will both minister to you and assist you in ministering to the Lord. Our worship is based on a biblical pattern and we strive to maintain an "openness" to the Lord. Our purpose is to minister in a way pleasing to God "decently and in order," assisting all people in all matters of worship.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

1. WE BELIEVE...The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.

2. WE BELIEVE...There is one God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

3. WE BELIEVE...In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.

4. WE BELIEVE...In the blessed hope--the rapture of the Church at Christ's coming.

5. WE BELIEVE...The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.

6. WE BELIEVE...Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

7. WE BELIEVE...In water baptism by immersion.

8. WE BELIEVE...The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.

9. WE BELIEVE...The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.

10. WE BELIEVE...In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.

11. WE BELIEVE...In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.



SPECIAL SERVICES

Communion Sunday: Communion is held every first Sunday of the month during our regular Morning Worship Service. Communion is open to all.


Missionary Spotlight Sunday: Every first Sunday of the month, our Missionary Spotlight takes place during our regular Morning Worship Service. For more information on our missions giving and support, please click here.


New Membership Banquets: Looking to join Good News Assembly? Wanting to find out more about the church? New Membership Banquets are the answer! Banquets are held at various times throughout the year and require pre-registration. Please contact our Church Offices to find out more information on our next scheduled Banquet. "Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together." Psalms 34:3


Water Baptism Service: Water Baptismal Services are held at various times throughout the year. Please contact our Church Offices if you are interested in being baptized.
"And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on His name." Acts 22:16 


Baby Dedication Ceremonies: Dedication Ceremonies, officiated by Pastor Tim and Donna Morgan, are available upon request. Please contact us if you are interested in having your baby dedicated.


Wedding Ceremonies: Getting married? Let us help make your special day one to remember for years to come! Contact our Church Offices today in order to receive a Wedding Packet and more information on having your wedding at Good News Assembly. All weddings are handled by our Wedding Coordinator, Mary Jean Abfalter.
